About Cron Expressions

A cron expression is a string of 5 fields separated by spaces representing: minute, hour, day of month, month, and day of week. Each field can be a specific value, a wildcard (*) meaning “every,” or a comma-separated list. Cron is the standard scheduling syntax on Unix-like operating systems.
